International Opera Singers Pippa Longworth and Karl Daymond present a festive programme of readings, songs and sing-along carols. Generously spiced with Dylan Thomas, Dickens, a few timely arias, a soupcon of nonsense and a dash of comic élan (and a pair of very peculiar carol singers), their traditionally costumed presentation cooks up a delicious Christmas Pudding of delight!
Between them, Pippa and Karl have appeared as principal soloists with companies such as The Royal Opera (Covent Garden), WNO, ENO, Opera North, Glyndebourne and at many Opera Houses in Europe and the USA, BBC Proms and on BBC Radio and TV. They have performed with orchestras such as The Royal Philharmonic, The Halle , The Philharmonia, The BBC Symphony, and The Berlin Philharmonic and with conductors such as Solti and Rattle.
