Art Exhibition - CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL by Ali Bannister
Ali's Exhibition runs from Tuesday 10th November – Sunday 6th December Artist Corner, Beaufort Square, Chepstow. Meet Ali at a the grand opening of her exhibition between 6pm-8pm on Tuesday 10th November.

About the Artist:
Having studied art and design in both England and New Zealand, Ali Bannister now lives in Monmouthshire. Her work covers a wide range of subjects but she specialises in animals.
Her limited edition equestrian works are particularly popular, and some of her racing subjects are signed by famous jockeys, making them especially collectable.
“My aim is to produce drawings where the viewer is conscious only of the subject, not of any artistic style. The challenge I set myself is to create an exact likeness which captures the character of the subject. To do this requires a lot of attention to detail; but detail is what I love."
“I believe that, if a drawing is done well, it can evoke quite a different emotion from a photograph."
Ali sells both originals and prints of her work, and would be pleased to discuss special commissions.
With commissions from America, Singapore and Hong Kong and a further six horses to draw for Ringo Starr, Ali looks set for a busy 2010.
