CHEPSTOW CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN FOOD QUIZ SHOCK!
Chamber members received a shock when they were invited to hold their July meeting at the Sitar Balti restaurant in Chepstow on Thursday July 2nd.

After a welcome by owner Hakim, members heard a short talk on Employment Law by Paul Rutter, of Barnes Richards Rutter Solicitors. Paul brought members up to date on current changes to the Law, including Age Discrimination pitfalls when making people redundant, and holiday entitlement.
Hakim then served members a superb meal, and asked members to vote on some new dishes that he had introduced.

The new dishes were
Tikka Garlic Chicken, with fresh garlic and green chilli,Shatkara from Bangladesh, with a citrus sauce,
Shigontha Chicken, marinated in butter and Tia Maria
Sitar Special lamb and king prawns, with herbs and spices,
Chan Ghost lamb with chick peas and herbs,
Massal Batera, a wild quail marinated in butter, herbs and spices,
and Shabzee Paneer, mixed vegetables cooked with cottage cheese, herbs and spices.
Members retired replete and happy, after being asked to rate the dishes for Hakim to incorporate in his new menu.
