Trudy Friend is a well-known artist, tutor and author and has written several books on painting (see her website www.trudyfriend.co.uk for details of her earlier books).  

 

Her new book will be entitled The Ultimate Drawing and Painting Techniques Bible.  As a resident of Monmouthshire, she enjoys and paints the beautiful wildlife of the area, and has very generously agreed not only to give up her time for this evening, but has also given two original paintings to be sold in aid of Gwent Wildlife Trust.  The paintings are priced at £200 each, or the pair can be bought for £300 and are collector’s items which would grace anyone’s walls.
On the evening, Trudy will talk about her work and the materials she uses, and samples of both will be on show, and her books and some pictures and cards, will be on sale.  There will be a raffle, and a bar is available.  It should be a really great evening for anyone interested in wildlife and art!

Tickets £2.50 (refundable against purchase of her new book) available from the Chepstow Bookshop,     13 St Mary Street, Chepstow, or on the door.
